Autumn-Winter ‘23 Collateral Design
Showroom invitation design based on Korean-American artist Nam June Paik’s Confused Rain (1967) with contents spelling out ‘New York’ after the collection’s title and theme. I felt the original artwork’s chaotic arrangement tied closely with the chaos of Manhattan.
Postcards feature images from Commission’s Vietnam shoot juxtaposed with pasted cutout photos of each model’s parents*, providing an intimate tie-in with the clothes from both a personal and aesthetic standpoint.
Cloth-bound clamshell gift box with blind deboss.
